Room for improvement...

A pencil is created with an eraser.. That is to delete possible mistakes that one could commit. With the latest technology that we have nowadays,, we can just simply shift from one gadget to one another, or delete  messages , no need for an eraser, just trash bin or retrieve messages  from the recycle bin and the like.  As I reflect on these actions , I hope that this is just  as easy as deleting the misconceptions of the learners in the real classroom  setting.. I hope it will not take for sometime to restructure the schema . I also hope that as a teacher in the classroom, I am not one of those who causes ontological misconceptions. I hope I did scaffolding to students who really needs my help.  and I hope for the others,  I help them to think strategically so as they survive in the midst of the many hands on activities in which one is not sure of whether learning really takes place.

Importance of time was mentioned in our class today, June 15,..It really matters.. But with the help of the standards, we can prioritize things to help students as they experience cognitive dissonance. We can help  them how to be experts, to find meaning in what they will undertake.. And to assess the things students did in the classroom , I was pondering upon the assessment that I used. There are plenty in the menu of assessment.  I hope those were used are able to make my students succeed and find meaning, relate their learnings to real life scenario.....If the assessments I used or made really measured what they are intended to giving justice to the learners cognitive level and learning abilities..for according to the psychological principle no.6.instructional practices must be appropriate for learners' level of cognitive abilities and their learning and thinking strategies..I simply hope that I used the similar  ones if not really the accurate ones...Anyways , there are always room for improvement..
